Concorde metal model airplane - aviation icon – CON
This metal model of the Concorde aircraft, the legendary supersonic machine, will make the perfect gift for the avid aviation enthusiast.
The Concorde turbojet-powered passenger plane is considered by many as the icon of aviation. It broke speed records: from London Heathrow to New York JFK flew in 2 hours 52 minutes and 59 seconds, circled the world in less than 33 hours (with stopovers). Concorde was seen as a prestigious means of transport for the wealthiest, although thanks to charter flights, a one-way trip could also be made by middle-income customers. After the crash of Flight 4590 on July 25, 2000, and financial problems, the Concorde was withdrawn from service in 2003.
This modern, minimalist Concorde model would make a great gift for an aviation enthusiast.
