Brass Sextant in Box – NC1506
Small Brass Sextant in a Wooden Box is a great gift idea for sailor and mariner. Sailors and mariners to this day are taught to use astronavigation instruments, including the sextant, so that if GPS and electronics fail, they will be able to determine the observed position. A sextant is used to measure angles and heights of celestial bodies above the horizon.
NC1506 sextant serves a decorative function. It has all the features of a sextant. It is an elegant, small nautical decoration that relates to nautical and astronomical traditions. The sextant will look good in a captain's cabin, a seaside hotel or a nautical style room.
Sextant is made of brass with glass lenses. Sextant is packed in a wooden box.
